Confirmed from Cromwell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Also a dog friendly park with water and some ducks.”

Pretty basic as far as parks go. There's a swing set and another playground area, as well as some very short trails to walk around the little pond area and grassy fields. There's a parking lot by the courthouse as well as a park specific parking area.

Great little park. Conveniently located. Great for going on relaxing walks. Amphitheater is excellent to host events. I really like that you can check the real time availability online and book it without any hassles. There is a cute little children’s play area right next to play field.

Cromwell Park is a wonderful little community hub. It's a great, clean place to take your kids, hang out in the sun or shade, enjoy some sports, or otherwise just get outside for a bit.

Rented the gazebo/pavilion/stage area for an all day event. Great venue, completely affordable price. Easy to find. Beautiful park. Well maintained. Nice paved sidewalk trails. Good parking. If someone has special needs walking (Grans to Toddlers to Others), easy getting around. Bathrooms were in good shape.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“It’s an ideal destination, complete with a café and restrooms for added convenience.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
