We take our dog for a walk through Crow Hill (Claredon Street entrance) multiple times a week. It's a beautiful, serene, getaway right in the city. The hike is easy with some hills but not too steep. We have seen many deer, rabbits, birds, ducks, turtles, muskrats, and even an owl.
My friends and I spent many hours at Crow Hill 70 years ago when brickmaking equipment was still rusting away. On a walk today I spotted two individual white tail deer and an inquisitive pair.
Beautiful pocket of wild in a busy city! Wildlife, crickets, views, and trails.
Great set of trails, plenty of parking at multiple trail heads. Different types of terrain, elevation and views. Pretty well blazed. If I lived closer, I would visit again.
