Confirmed from Darby Creek Trail Drexel Hill's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a creek for swimming and fishing, plus dog-friendly trails and a waterfall.
What runners say about Darby Creek Trail Drexel Hill
This trail is great, peaceful and dog-friendly. If the night time party people could take their cases of beer bottles out with them, it would be even better. Let's have some respect for our township workers and park police.
The area has really been cleaned up, with the new trail running along the creek from the dog park to the trolley station. The rest of the trail is just the current road that runs to the Swedish Cabin. I wish they had also cleaned up and widened that road to be more accommodating of car and foot/bike traffic.
Lovely trail! It's about 2.25 miles and has a little waterfall! Worth a visit.
I have been going to this spot for years. Ever sense I moved into delco. It is with out a doubt one of the nicer areas for trial riding/hiking, swimming, fishing, and even family outings.
