Confirmed from Deer Hollow Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a large field suitable for kids, basketball, and on-leash dogs.
What runners say about Deer Hollow Park
“Clean and beautiful open space just to relax and enjoy the outdoors.”
A nice large empty field that is usually cut, great for simply running around with kids, dogs or yourself. There is a short paved path that is covered with trees for some shade, but like I said it's very short. There is also a basketball court but it has not been maintained. I am there often to tire out my KhloBear
Great place. Very convenient. Very friendly. Everyone knows everyone and the names of all the dogs. Dogs get exercise and most people walk around and get their exercise as well. Never encountered any problem whatsoever. Only 4 star rating due to lack of gate closure. Otherwise 5 stars.
Don't think this is a "dog park" it is nice big open field that small toddlers were practicing soccer on this morning. We got to take a walk thru with pup and kids while seeing other doggies , we were on search for dog park this morning. Not bad just not what we were looking for

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
