Confirmed from DeLano Farms' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve featuring trails, service learning, a market, and a festival.
What runners say about DeLano Farms
“They need to have maps in the Hiking trails so you know where you are at but it wad Beautiful place”
Love Delano Farms. When the house is open, it is a neat place to visit. The animals are nice. There are trails here. One connects to the main part of the Kalamazoo Nature Center through a tunnel that runs under Westnedge. The Source Pond trail is easy. A great hike for families. The Source Pond is nice.
This is where history and nature collide! Tour the historic DeLano Farm property, walk the trails, see the farm animals, buy fresh produce at the Market Barn, what can't you do here?
It was like walking back in time, to actually see how they lived, prepared food, heated their living space, very educational. When we walked the grounds you can feel like you were there back in time.
Free parking and connects with all the trails at Kalamazoo Nature Preserve.
