First of all, Devils River park is very secluded. Be aware that you need to fill up your gas tank at the nearest town (rock springs, or Sonora) before arriving. As many have stated, it’s a 22 mile drive on a unpaved road. It takes almost an hr once you get of the hwy.
Beautiful river, very remote. Just make sure to go prepared with enough water, snacks, and sunscreen. It's about 50 minutes of dirt road, we got a flat tire, thankfully we had a spare one.
Devils River SNA- again. I cannot get enough of this place. Decided I wanted to turn 40 here!!!! Spent Friday-Monday in this magical place. Hiked part of the 12m loop, beautiful views near the primitive campsites!
Devils River is a beautiful area but it takes a bit to get there. Drive your SUV or vehicle with 4-wheel drive or you may get stuck. It was 19 miles of dirt roads at about 25 miles per hour. Not a ton of hikes here but lots of spots along the river to fish and kayak if you bring your own.
