Confirmed from Dodge Park #5's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Scarlet's Playground is absolutely amazing. There isn't a negative thing about it! All the sensory structures are phenomenal, there's plenty of room and the trails surrounding the park are beautiful. We spend hours at a time here and my kids never get bored. There is no water or bathrooms right now so come prepared.

The light show walk-through-the-woods was really quite amazing. I'm 34, and it felt magical to ME! So definitely take your kids (well, in 2021 anyway!), and they'll have a wonderful time! The picture does this experience no justice! That's just the very beginning!

Recently renovated Park with plenty to do. Excellent playground. Bathrooms with running water and plenty of space for frisbee soccer or anything else you like to do. There is a trail system that goes to the library and plenty of shady areas. Very nice well kept park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“Bathrooms with running water and plenty of space for frisbee soccer or anything else you like to do.”
