Confirmed from Double Trouble State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
State park with cranberry bogs & a preserved 19th-century company town, plus nature trails.
What runners say about Double Trouble State Park
“Mild highway noise in parts closer to the GSP but otherwise serene with well maintained and mostly flat trails.”
“A peaceful state park with beautiful trails, historic buildings, and natural scenery.”
“Trails are well marked and you can also track on AllTrails app.”
“Double Trouble State Park is a hidden paradise, offering serene nature and an adventure-filled experience for all!”
“It's also great for dog walking as well!”
Great park for family photos or a really relaxing walk. Horse back riding, Kayaking, lots of historic buildings left from an old cranberry farm. Really fun place to visit, right off exit 77 south bound on the parkway. Be careful pulling in- usually a few large potholes right at the entrance. No public restroom.
Beautiful park! Great views, nice trails, and it has a cranberry bog. This is a great place to walk around, take in the scenery, and learn some cool history. I used to come here a lot as a kid and since moving away, I haven’t been able to come around as much. I really missed it here.
A nice long walk around the bogs is very relaxing. Be aware of the wildlife. Beaver, frogs, birds, snakes. It’s a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the everyday grind. Enjoy nature ! Jah lives !
I gave Double Trouble State Park 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pros: • Unspoiled wilderness, perfect for nature escapes! • Scenic trails for running, walking, and exploring! • Scenic Viewpoint • Pristine lakes for kayaking or canoeing, some might even go swimming in the warmer months!
