Confirmed from Douglas Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park has something for everyone - baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis. Also good for jogging/running/walking. It’s a nice, clean, and relaxing park. Recently added an outdoor gym and are in the process of building a children’s playground. Rumor is there will also be indoor basketball courts soon.

Great park for tennis and Pickleball play. I go to Douglas for the pickleball with two courts, which is open play, with a wonderful group of people. The park does have a playground for the kiddies as well as 🏀 basketball courts, and a walking path, which I see Many use in the early morning.

I've been going there for years great park to walk do parties take small or big kids to enjoy themselves had a great Xmas event this past year. Hope they do it again this year. I moved further away and have other parks to go to. But I rather go to Douglas Park I love it!!!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 6 mentions

“Currently one of the doors of the dog park is broke so if anyone can please take care of it so the dogs won’t be able to escape”

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
