Confirmed from Dowlin Forge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park for walking, dog-walking and biking with creeks and historical remains.

Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to visit on any afternoon or weekend. Beautifully maintained and people who come here are respectful and keep the trails clean. You can bike and scoot your heart out, the paved trail doesn't seem to end.
I love this place. It’s peaceful, quiet, beautiful nice place for walk. I call this park (Happiness Park)
I love this place. It has nice trails that are well marked for hiking, dog walking, and running. It has lovely trees, well kept grounds, and diverse terrain. Water and some historical landmarks. It has accessible parking and shaded paths.
This is a beautiful spot for a walk, run, or bike ride. Or honestly just to sit on one of the many benches and watch the stream and pond. Well maintained wide trail. One of our favorites!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
