We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Duckwood Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Duckwood Trailhead
Always love coming here for a nice long walk. Usually everyone you encounter on these trails are very nice poeple. I did see a few snakes (non venomous) and the squirrels will eat out of your hands if you are patient enough. Please don't feed them junk food.
Not too busy, dog loved it. Good combination of pedestrian and more rugged trails. Fun by the creek too.
This is an easy couple mile hike that has a few loops. There are benches to sit and the trail head has few spaces to park. Saw some wildlife Deer. There is a stream of water that flows through and views of the mountains. Dog friendly on leash and there are bathrooms in the park not too far away!
Easy access to the river and you can get off the path to follow the river south. Bridge is out of service towards the end of the trail!
