Confirmed from El Monte County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
County park offering a playground, trails, and facilities for ball games, picnicking, and horseshoes.

Beautiful park, be mindful of the lack of cell service! You can reserve spaces for all sorts of events. The park office also has sporting equipment you can borrow.
This is such a beautiful park. I would highly recommend you check it out. Very kid friendly. It cost $3.00 to park but a beautiful backdrop. Also located near Lake Jennings and the El Capitan Resivor. You also get alot of wild Turkey that run around that area. Lots of play places. Plenty of parking aswell.
El Monte Park is a nice place to hike! Its also an amazing place to do a nice trail ride with horses! My horse and I love trail riding up there!
