Confirmed from Eucalyptus Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Eucalyptus Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (154 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 14 mentions

“There’s a small incline in the beginning but smooth sailing after that beautiful green rolling Hill views little flowers you get to see animals just overall a pretty little outing.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“This a family friendly trail.”

This was a 3.5 mile loop, medium difficulty as it has a couple of hills and rocks. It goes around a neighborhood where there are equestrian areas so is nice to see the animals. Bring water in spring as it gets hot. Available parking at the park or street parking.

Mom and I aren't super into hikes, very much beginner hikers at best. We parked at the Chino Hills park parking lot and walked up using the white fence to guide us to the entrance of the loop. From where we started, the hike was pretty uphill, until about 5 min in where there was a pretty steep hill.

Hiked this beautiful trail celebrating a colleague's promotion. Came early, plenty of parking. Started at 9:30 am and finished at 11:30 am. This included stopping for pictures, taking in the gorgeous scenery, and watching the cattle. I will be back and recommend this trail.

Very nice trial ,very clean, not too much shade but beautiful views. You can see some cows and horses in parts of the trail. I would recommend it for the whole family.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
