Confirmed from Evergreen Hollow Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Evergreen Hollow Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (191 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“There were clean restrooms that had real plumbing (not a hole in the ground toilet like many park bathrooms are).”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Evergreen Park was a beautiful and accessible park with lots of amenities including playgrounds, walking paths, a pool and a dog park.”

Lovely park. Several playgrounds, restrooms, walking paths. It was very busy when we went, but still felt serene when away from the playing fields.

★★★★★ — Jennifer , May 2024

Was there for a family reunion. The facilities were great. Large covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables. Parking and clean restrooms were close by. Kid friendly with a great playground and dog friendly with a fenced in dog park. Paved paths and sidewalks for the handicapped.

I have been going here since I was a little kid, and now it is my kids' turns. I think my favorite part of this park is how you can go back behind all the slides, and enjoy a little walking path that takes you into a small wooded area just in case you want some peace and quiet from all the screaming kids.

★★★★★ — Dylan , Mar 2021

I love this park, I've been bringing my kids here for more than 15 years. There is tons to do! There's a section of the park that's better suited for smaller children, there's one that is brand new and perfect for older kids. The gaga ball pit is always a bit.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 12 mentions

“It’s a great place just not to much for larger dogs to do make sure you bring your own toys but I do love that they have a 2 gate system to keeps dogs safe”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
