Confirmed from Evergreen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What a fantastic place to have a family gathering. The trails are nice, the park options were good. Bring some corn hole, frisbee, etc and there is plenty of space to relax or have a fun filled family day.

Beautiful and peaceful Christmas morning walk enjoying the presence of our Good Lord. Even got to see a young eagle fishing down the river. Jesus is Lord and Savior! Blessed

★★★★★ — Janae , Dec 2024

Pretty nice little park/walking trail. Even in the winter time it is nice and maintained.

★★★★☆ — Summer , Feb 2018

Evergreen Park offers a tranquil walking area just outside the city of Huntington. The walkways are well cared for and it is not unheard of to spot several species of birds and wildlife. I've included a photo of a cute little snail crossing my path on a warm summer morning.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
