Confirmed from Finger Park Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Finger Park Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (135 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Loop trail was a good mix of flat and climbing. Our dogs loved getting to navigate the park. Skirts most of the part edge and has signs when path is the wrong way, not a ton of positive indication of the right way. Didn't run into others. Some evidence of camp sites but those were empty when I was there.

I just took this trail today with my two year old daughter in the backpack carrier... I will not be taking her along again, this is a great hike for someone with no small children. It is a VERY rugged trail, (but fun).....As for the park itself, it's great!!!

★★★★☆ — Laura , May 2017

Small park with a short hiking trail. I used to live near there, so I visited it often. It has kid playground, pick-nick BBQ area, basket ball court and public bathroom.

Nice little park if you need to get away from the world for a minute. Short enough trail but be forewarned it's all uphill to the midpoint whichever way you go.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
