Confirmed from Flatwoods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wilderness preserve with a 7-mile paved loop road for cycling & skating plus birding & picnic areas.

“I found the quarter mile markers very helpful as well.”
“Definitely a nice local Tampa spot that is quiet and peaceful.”
Awesome park to enjoy a bike ride, long walk with the puppies, grab a nice run in, push a friend in a wheelchair, roller blade a few miles, or just wander through some of the landscape that real Florida is known for! Tons of wildlife and birds galore.
Wilderness conservation park is exceptional. My absolute favorite feature of this park is the 30+ miles of single-track mountain bike trails. The trail system is maintained by volunteers, mostly from the SWAMP mtb club.
The facilities are very well maintained! Lots of cool native Florida plants around the building, the butterfly garden was very pretty. This is a great trail for biking, rollerblading, running, walking, getting out with your dog, and nature. Watching. Lots of wildlife, birds, bunnies, deer, hogs.
There is a lot of adventuring and outdoor activities to do in the park. It caters mainly to bicyclists (on- and off-road, but there is plenty of room on the paved path for foot traffic. There's a well-worn lime rock shoulder for pedestrians as well. Bring sunblock and bug spray.
