Visiting in 2023 for the first time going back around the same time this year short easy hike. Humidity brings water . Friendly birds very trusting.
Went there after seeing an ad in the Sentinel. Did not actually see any scrub jays but the walk and guide were very interesting. It's a ways into the woods so there's lots to see. The site is a mixture of flora and fauna that are native to Florida. The Association is conserve what construction is quickly over taking.
We visited the Florida Scrub-Jay Trail in April 2016 and had a pleasant experience. We spent some time talking with the owner, who detailed the history of the home on the property and gave us information about the birds. The trail is neither long nor spread out, but we saw lots of wildlife and plants.
Lots and lots of birds, other wildlife, and scenic trails. This place has a sweet peaceful feeling about it. Glad to have visited.
