Confirmed from Forest River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene park featuring hiking and bike trails, as well as picnic tables and barbecues.

One of the many Ecological Parks that cover Fargo up and down the Red River. This park has a mix of paved, well maintained and more rustic type trails. This makes this park good for walking and biking. The time I was here there were many people with their dogs.
Excellent area to take a walk and enjoy a bit of nature without going far from town. Area has plenty of wildlife typical of the area including deer, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, and the usual variety of birds. Pair of bald eagles are nesting near by as well and can occasionally be seen flying above.
This little park is a great place to go for a walk, jog, or even to sit! They have a great launch site for kayaks/canoes and it a nice short drive from Fargo. If you haven't gone yet you are missing out!
Love the wide trails and being near the water. The trails are beautiful with lots of greenery, shade, and big/tall trees. I love it there. Next visit,I just might see about doing some fishing.
