Confirmed from Forest River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This riverfront park with beaches, picnic areas & a playground also offers a living history museum.
What runners say about Forest River Park
“Beautiful location to have a barbecue Walk around and ground yourself on the grass”
“It’s got a nice little beach area, perfect for the kids and shaded grassy areas where you can sit, grill, blast music.”
From pool to ocean this place has it all!!! Next time I go, I’m definitely gonna be one of those ones on the paddleboard :-) Me and one of my friend went for a walk around the grounds. If you go around a couple of times, you get a great workout in will be in cool with that ocean breeze.
Such a beautiful coastal park. Has plenty of walkways that are paved and easy to walk. Right along plenty of beaches, coasts and filled with trees and endless beautiful views. Very nice and brisk walk, highly recommend if you are in the area.
Great place to relax and take some pictures. Come at low tide to walk on the beach see the tide pools the rocks create.
We love the pool and the playground. Some of the lifeguards are a little too strict when it comes to the kids playing. I completely understand that there’s rules for a reason but let’s keep them the same across the board. Also if the parent is there with the child let the parents enforce the rules.
