Confirmed from Forge Pond Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene trails by a pond and along a river in a park-like setting, for hiking and angling.
What runners say about Forge Pond Conservation Area
“Not too much space for parking, but still a beautiful spot to visit!”
“Nice quiet short walk, with sounds of the river running”
Fishing this pond and river systems for all my life.... Nice place too bring the young kids to play for a bit on a easy hike....
Great for dogs! Trails are full of obstacles, but I rather enjoy that. Fallen trees, rocky paths, mud, and uneven terrain make this a difficult walk for some people, but most will enjoy the tranquility, beauty, and natural elements of this place, I highly recommend!
This place was cool it was definitely a workout with the hills but i sat on a rock right next to the water and it was so peaceful and relaxing definitely recommend the waterfall was my favorite part though
great place to go for a walk in westport, bit small of a place but still great trail!
