Confirmed from Forked River Beach Bay Front Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kiddie playground with slides, swings and a gazebo amid bayfront scenery.
What runners say about Forked River Beach Bay Front Park
“Clean play area for kids to play alwas well maintained.”
“This is one of the most beautiful playgrounds I have ever seen and visited.”
Very nice place for the whole family: While the kids can spend their energy in the ocean themed playgroud, the adults can keep an eye on them while training on exercice machines placed around it. No need to supervise the kids? Juste enjoy the nice view on the water. There is also a nice walking path beside it.
Nice little park with a playground, a bike path and some exercise equipment. The playground and exercise area is cushioned which is wonderful to stand on. Beautiful views of the Barnegat Bay and Lighthouse.
Nice half mile walk around perimeter. Beautiful view of the bay. Playground looked fun. Tempted by adult work out equipment but wanted lunch. If you have little ones bring them here. Great turtle preserve.
Great place to watch the stars, sunset or even the sunrise. You get to see Barnegat lighthouse from afar. Small little trail to walk on.
Trail conditions & character
“Nice view of the Barnegat Lighthouse annd a really nice fitness area for kids 12+, the kids area is nice but what's even better is the swings and the picnic area with the gazebo.”
