What runners say about Fort Oglethorpe Greenway
Great little trail for short walks. Quite and peaceful with 2 picnic tables, fenced dog park area, and several benches to sit and listen to the running water of the small creek. Greenway passes right next to Ft. Oglethorpe's Gilbert Stephenson Park.
FOR RUNNERS: Initially, this seems like a short route when the path takes you to a sidewalk to the main road within the first 7 minutes of running. However, continue to the right following that sidewalk and the path picks up to the Oglethorpe High School and passed the Middle school.
Nice little walk way with bridges and a creek. Good for a short puppy walk or to stop and stretch your legs.
