Confirmed from Founders Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kids' park featuring soccer fields and baseball fields as well as a fenced-in playground.
What runners say about Founders Park
“The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming.”
“I took kids to soccer practice but no shade if you are watching the practice also playground didn't have a cover for kids as well but very quite place and good place for practice.”
This park is large, lots of open space as well. We were able to put up a badminton net next to one of the soccer fields and there was still enough space. My 5 year old enjoyed playing in the pirate park which has a large array of swing sets so there's enough room for everyone.
Founder Park is always a joy to visit! The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. It’s a great place to play soccer on Saturday mornings, and the surrounding area is perfect for a pleasant walk before or after the game. A wonderful spot for both exercise and relaxation!
Founders Park is a great place for the family. Kids have a big playground area with many options, there is a paved trail to walk/bike, plenty of fields to practice soccer, football, and I have even seen some small kids playing baseball. It's clean, safe, and very well maintained.
