Confirmed from Fountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fountain Park
“I remember this building being at the park from when I was a kid, and although it was pretty clean, it looks as though it hasn't been undated since.”
“Flowers are beautiful and you can visit the nearby cemetery.”
Nice place to walk around or go fishing if you want to since there is a river alongside the walking path. Flowers are beautiful and you can visit the nearby cemetery. Nice and quiet for the most part.
Went here for lunch and a small walk with a date. It went fairly well and the scenery in fall is wonderful here. The water looks so amazing and makes me want to bring my fishing poles so I could throw something in there to see whats swimming around in the water.
Hey, Had good time , very clean inside building, when we left at nite time , need 3 or 4 lights on side walk walking straight out to street. Very dark could not see were i was walking , just had hip replacement , maybe lights on polls that match the other poll lights would really light the walk area.
Watched my nephews varsity(Piqua) baseball game vs Greenville..We won 13-4..Such and nice ball field as well as large park for kids/adults..The canal runs just above the park(small walk up steps to canal) as well as bike path along canal that goes all thru Piqua in every direction .Great place to visit !

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
