Confirmed from Fox Glen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park featuring picnic tables and paved paths for jogging and walking.
What runners say about Fox Glen Park
“Very quiet, shady and just beautiful for a walk and run.”
“Perfect for an easy stroll with the kids or to walk the dog.”
Nice paved trail with some pretty views. Trail isn’t very long but I made several laps to make my walk long enough. It’s easy access right off of Straub road and not usually a very busy place.
Very nice park to go for a walk in the woods. Asphalt paths to make it easy and not get muddy. Lots of nice mowed clearings.
Good place for quick walk! It’s about 1/2 a mile all the way around and mostly in the shade.
Typically nice, safe and well maintained path to walk. Picnic tables available.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
