Confirmed from Fox Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fox Pond Park
“Picnic tables;clean bathroom,& of course a nice playground for the children.”
“Very beautiful place, child friendly, dog friendly.”
“This location is wonderful, very quiet & relaxing, it's also about 40 minutes,or less, from Kerr Lake; depending on traffic.”
Great park, mateninence on grouds need some work. But overall, holds a great experience for families. Lots of benches along the 2.2 mile loop hike around Lake, fishing, shelters for rentals, and tennis courts. Playgrounds, and the curest doggie park ever.
Pretty good option for families. The playground options are standard. Oddly they do not offer swings for smaller or older children. Seems the park and rec funds could go towards a little upgrade for the children. They do have a new dog walking path. Good option to rent a gazebo for outdoor family functions.
Very beautiful place, child friendly, dog friendly. I love the nature trail and the little creek area! I would recommend someone cleaning the place up a little bit though. And I didn’t see bathrooms but they might have them I’m not sure.
Beautiful park with lots of amenities. Trails, playgrounds, tennis courts and even a baseball field. Very clean and everyone is super friendly.
