Great place to hike! Lots of wild life (deer, porcupine, frogs) and the view from the ledges was awesome, definitely will be back frequently. Signs can be a bit tricky so I'd recommend checking out the trail map and trail color codes in advance.

Can be a very short 30 min hike up and down, or you can spend hours exploring all the trails. One of my favorite hikes and great views at the top of the ledges.
With any number of trails to choose from, and several to choose that aren't trails at all, the walk to and from French's ledges can be whatever you want it to be. Though I can't really recommend the signage or main route up, it's also very difficult to get truly lost, as the area is well contained.
