Confirmed from Friedt Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Recreational space featuring a baseball field, a playground and a sledding hill. There is also a trail through the woods.

What runners say about Friedt Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (115 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Found a swing that goes over a creek. Has a playground at the entrance and picnic tables. To the right of the park is the entrance to the woods. If your not an uphill person do not take the path. Me and my children loved the park. The playground looks new.

★★★★★ — Tabitha , Aug 2023

There is a nice playground, a basketball court, and field where kids can run or practice soccer/baseball. There is one trail through the woods, but it is not marked well. There are paths that others have made that go down a hill for a slightly longer trail than the marked Eagle trail as well.

★★★★☆ — Amanda , Oct 2023

Trails were nice enough. A single part is fairly steep. Some trees have fallen onto the paths but whats a little hike without picking up your feet. People need to bring in bags for their dogs though. Saw about three piles but other than that the park is exceptionally clean.

★★★★★ — Andrew , Jul 2020

Nice playground with a pavilion and a bathroom. Wide open field has plenty of room for the kiddos to run around. Only drawbacks are the rough gravel parking lot and frequent cars visiting the recycling drop off.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
