Confirmed from Furness Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Furness Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (36 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“It’s a great park for a quick and short run if u want to shed some calories after a heavy meal 😜.”

Much bigger than what you'd anticipate, but not huge. It's a dense park with lots of interconnected paths so it's both easy to get lost, and surprisingly easy to get un-lost. Fun to be in for all ages whether to walk, play, picnic, exercize, whatever.

Cute 🥰 park in the Wallingford area. The furness park is located adjacent to the Septa Wallingford train 🚊 station. It’s a great park for walking and nature observation of the greenery. There are a few picnic tables in the park and workout 🏋️‍♀️ stations are located at vantage points in the park.

It has a short and reasonably maintained trail with benches throughout (there is a slight erosion issue throughout the trail). There is also a small picnic area with tables, though someone has a trap camera setup pointed at the picnic area, which is a bit creepy.

A beautiful park that you can explore with your dog, but very close to roads and the train station, so it can be pretty noisy. Otherwise it is a nice place if you want to walk around without doing a full on hike.
