Have had a desire to visit the last miles of the C&O Canal Towpath for quite some time in order to prepare for my future thru-ride. Enjoyed seeing the interesting and informative displays along the trail.
The C&O Canal Towpath in Cumberland MD is a lovely park in the downtown area. Located under the interstate bridges. It's also located near the Rail Road Train Station. Free to stroll around and enjoy Free parking There are paths to stroll,bridges to cross and signs to read. A great playground for kids.
