Confirmed from Garcia Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Garcia Park
“This place is nicely maintained and it was a pleasure spending time here.”
The park is wonderful to take the kids to or have a nice walk in remembrance of the children that were lost. New playground equipment and lots of bbq areas it’s great to bring the fam to.
I was impressed on the hiking trail. Very clean saw a lot of people walking them . It’s my new favorite spot . Only downfall is they don’t have restroom it’s porter pottys :/
Love this park with many trails. I just wish people would pick up their dog's poop!!!!
The park needs more parking lots when they have games u can hardly find a parking space. Can u plz. add more parking lots to it thank u. And also can u plz. add more walking trails to make it more fun to walk it looks like you have a lot off space that u can expend it … I love the park we go every day in the evenings…

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
