We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Gardiner Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground, creekside paths and a walking track.
What runners say about Gardiner Park
“And it's all as clean as a whistle and safe as houses.”
A really nice place to go walking. I really liked the sign that tells you how many laps equal one mile.
This is a lovely park to visit. 4.5 times around the track is the equivalent of a mile. My kids love playing soccer here and playing by the creek. It's also a nice place for a picnic with the various tables around and lots of shade so you could also sit on the ground.
It is a lovely clean grassy tree studded space with a gravel walking track, an area of swings, a play tower with 3 slides and bricked paths which lead you from one area to the next. I felt completely safe letting my 3 yr. old grandbaby scamper about.
Has a good playground and small walking track (four loops make a mile) but other paths run down in parts. Very safe.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
