Confirmed from Gay Ruby Dahlstrom Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Gay Ruby Dahlstrom Nature Preserve
Really nice and relatively easy nature trails. Around 4 miles of trails including the paved trail in the beginning. My only complaint is that they make it a bit difficult to do a reservation. I haven't experienced that before anywhere else. Regardless, it is a nice trail system and I will go again.
Savannah was so helpful with the reservation process and this park has great hiking trails!
This hidden gem provides a sanctuary to recharge and connect with nature, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful or more private walk. The trails are easy to hike and are well-maintained, with endless views of native plants and the sounds of birds. This place makes you forget you are nearby major cities.
A nice local nature trail that is good for beginners. Decent amount of shade and a paved path leading up to the preserve. There is a small fee per person and you have to register online in advance so keep that in mind!
