Confirmed from Genesee Valley Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Genesee Valley Trail
This is a great trail to walk and see Flint's historical building while being at peace.there's several miles and several trails you can take.#arealflintstone#Flintstone#bornandraised
Great for riding bikes or walking with the exception of glass broken by people who are not riding bikes
I love the Genesee Valley Trail, because I like to get a head start, beat the crowd, venture out by myself, and have some alone time, or much needed ME time, so I can continue to make the best, smartest desicions in my life in order to be the best me I can be and live and let live.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
