We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Glen Echo Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Glen Echo Park
“A beautiful wide open space with beautiful views of the pond.”
Beautiful park. Keep in mind there are a ton of wild animals (coyote, fisher cats, fox, Turkey, deer, etc) and they are out at all hours. I see an animal every time I’m there, even in the day. we don’t bring our dogs here, but still worth a nice walk.
Great park to walk your dog. 2 main trails to choose-a shorter one around the small pond and a longer 2.5 mile trail to the right side of the big pond.
