Confirmed from Goodnight Peak Loop via Triassic Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This trailhead is located just below the rim about 1 mile from the Sagebrush or Amphitheater entrance as you head out of the canyon toward the park entrance. The first 1/4 mile of the hike is easy with spectacular views of the canyon and the Sagebrush campground below.
This is an easy short trail with great views! We enjoyed stretching our legs here with our puppy. Great trail to hike at this particular parking area if you have bad knees like I do. Not a lot of climbing for the rewards.
Excellent trail a faire également !
Amazing trial and extra ordinary view from top! Use caution in certain parts of the trail. Goodnight Peak has the best view to watch a sunset. Kids as young as 5 were on the trail and did fine but needed guidance at times.
