This paved trail can be walked through in about 20 minutes. There are multiple covered areas along the way for shade and postings about local plants. It's fun to see what padre island looks like naturally.
Paved, 1 mile loop, several rest benches. Note it's just into the national park so you have to pay to get in the park.
Nice easy walking trail. You see lizards, butterflies and as we did a pack rat. Nice scenery. There is one sand dune that you can climb and see 360 degrees.
Im a person who appreciates walking, I love walking. I also appreciate a prairie field so I completely enjoyed this trail. Just being outdoors somewhere different and new that is a beautiful enjoyable experience for me.
