I’ve seen Great Piece Meadows on maps and how big it is but never been in it. So one day I decided to go. I came thru on a side street off of Pine Brook Road there aren’t very many trails and it’s not really a good place to go if you wanna go for a hike.
Went here to take photos and hike during the winter. It is very nice even at this time of year and I found a few trails and hiked. There were multiple access points that I entered through, some did have better trails then others but they were all well maintained.
Beautiful preserved freshwater wetland. Only giving 4 stars because of the lack of sound barriers along I-80, lack of parking, and unmarked trailhead
Amazing forest and I enjoy my short stay but would love to be able to revisit as soon as possible so I can do some exploring and hiking
