We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Greater Ozarks Audubon Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“Found this trail close to our ultimate destination and decided a quick easy hike was in order before spending the rest of the day indoors.”

Well. Ill start with, in the 2 hours spent there we took the Audubon trail twice. In both directions, and the Park trail once. They are rather short but humid. Woooow. Hands down best place in trail in Springfeild.

A great little place to hike near Springfield with fantastic and beautiful views. This Park “Springfield Lake” The paths are pretty clear and there are some really cool places that have easy access to.

This trail is a bit short but a decent workout. Love the view of the lake. Can't wait to come again in the summer.

This is without a doubt my favorite trail in all of Springfield, Missouri. To me, it's very worth it to come here, for multiple reasons. To begin, the trail is not too terribly long or intense. I'd say it's an easy trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 17 mentions

“Once u get to the top there are lots of scenic view ops & alternative trails to return on.”
