Confirmed from Greenbelt Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular spot with waterfront views, including a playground and volleyball courts, along with walking trails.
What runners say about Greenbelt Trail
“When the beach is clean some people hang out on the beach and splash around in the water.”
“Normally not much foot traffic, and everything looks beautiful during the spring and fall months.”
“Always a pleasure to walk this side of the river in the summer months, as there is abundant shade along many stretches, and multiple points of access.”
One of my favorite places to walk. Normally not much foot traffic, and everything looks beautiful during the spring and fall months.
Awesome area to get a little wet. Found plenty of shade and space with a variety of plant life. Easy access water for a cool off on the inevitable scorching days.
Excellent pedestrian (biking? I didn’t see any bikes but there was a reference to them in a trail etiquette poster) trail along the Snake river. Spots for fishing and even swimming. Built and operated by the Army Corps of Engineers. Open 24 hours.
It's a good place to walk and sometimes find a place to just park and sit and eat and relax. There are different activities for different people. Some people ride bikes, some people walk, some people run, some people walk their dogs, some people go out on the Snake River in boats and fish.
