Confirmed from Greenbury Point Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Greenbury Point Nature Center
“Trails aren't labeled in all break-off's, can be muddy, but otherwise an easy walk with beautiful views.”
Great place to walk your dog! I strongly advise folks to pick up their dog’s poop! Makes others appreciate their time in nature and ensures that pet owners don’t get a bad name in this unique estuary environment!
Beautiful park located past the Naval Academy Golf Course. I love the trails and beautiful views. They have a nice Dog Park. There is a small picnic area with grills to cook.
6 hour Annapolis Striders eternal winter run held here. A nice place to run. Ran 33 miles or 13 laps.
Nice green space with great views. But if you dont catch it on the days when the Navy opens the gates out to the point where the towers are, the smaller nature trail is pretty limited. So check the access schedule before you go.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
