Confirmed from Greenway Trails (Morganton)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Good mix of sun and shade.”
This place is so pretty. A beautiful walk on a paved trail beside the river through the woods. Meet lots of friendly people out walking. They have a picnic area, a play area for adults and children and restrooms. Ample parking with many places in town to access the Greenway. Piers for fishing two.
Always beautiful here. Many different stops and pull-offs along the water and trails. Multiple soccer fields, playground equipment sets, and even dog parks. Gazebos and picnic tables across the trail. The bridge is a cite spot for pictures.
The Greenway was a game-changer for Morganton. It offers lengthy paved surfaces to safely walk, ride bikes, jog, dog-walk, saunter, stroll....whatever the pace. It is kept clean and has managed to, by-and-large, managed to maintain an aire of safety and order.
Nice trail system, well marked with nice views. Not very crowded if you go before 9am. Lots of dog walkers who were all mostly friendly, however many do not pick up their dogs waste.
