The Grumman Memorial Park is a very interesting little stop where you can see a snippet of Long Island military manufacturing history. You can make your stop as long or as short as you want here.
Worth a short stop to look around. Also, good parking spot to access segment of 10 mile biking/hiking trail originating in nearby Veteran Memorial park.
A most interesting display of some of the most popular aircrafts designed and produced on Long Island. Small park but informative. I like that it is next to a bike trail.
