Confirmed from Grumman Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 3 mentions
🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“This place was so peaceful.”

The Grumman Memorial Park is a very interesting little stop where you can see a snippet of Long Island military manufacturing history. You can make your stop as long or as short as you want here.

★★★★☆ — Thomas , Jun 2024

Worth a short stop to look around. Also, good parking spot to access segment of 10 mile biking/hiking trail originating in nearby Veteran Memorial park.

★★★★☆ — Mike , Mar 2023

A most interesting display of some of the most popular aircrafts designed and produced on Long Island. Small park but informative. I like that it is next to a bike trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 4 mentions

“There are a couple of detailed signs to read and there is a nearby trail that you can take or you can just stop to take in the view of these awe inspiring machines.”
