Confirmed from Hadley Valley Preserve - Bruce Road Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Hadley Valley Preserve - Bruce Road Access
“Great place to walk, run, ride a horse, and the best ride a bike.”
Great trail for hiking, running, biking, or horseback riding with expensive views of prairie👍👍 2 words of caution: 1) if you're on a road/non-hybrid bike, the first mile of gravel is a little rough. I'd suggest hopping on at the western section instead.
Good trail head to access the gravel path with a nice prairie view. Picnic table on site. Slightly elevated area for the viewing the surroundings. Enough room to fly a kite.
I came here to have an outdoor sit down lunch . There’s a long walkway, a restroom, and table to sit. A lot of grass. I would say it’s a nice place to walk your dog .
Nice trails. Not crowded. Good for dog walking, jogging and bike riding.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
