Wonderful hiking oasis with winding trails in the midst of suburbia. We’ve been lucky enough to see an owl and recently spotted a raven hanging out in the trees. I’d give this 5 stars if it wasn’t for the large number of people with off-leash dogs on the trail.
Large park with many trails that are good for kiddos. Non-committal since none of the trails lead too far from the park and parking lot. Playgrounds were in good shape, nice assortment of trails walking and paved walking with baseball fields and playgrounds sprinkled in and even some cannon gun thingys. Nice place.
Hamlin Park feels like stepping into an enchanted forest. The tall trees tower above you, and when the sunlight filters through the branches, it’s absolutely magical.
Huge park with lots of trails great for a nature walk or to exercise your dog. Small playground next to the baseball fields for younger toddlers and there is climbing structure for bigger kids closer to the restrooms. Lots of shade trees with picnic tables and benches spread out. Plenty of parking with multiple lots.
