Beautiful park! Lots of space to do anything and lots of water features! Trees and plants are beautiful and well maintained. Gazebo was in great location and in good condition. Highly recommend checking this park out send going for a walk in the nature it has to offer.
A great public park for hikers, runners, bikers and dog walkers. The size is perfect for normal folks. Came town for a beach vacation. Paid a visit at early morning with my k9 baby. We had a great time. Also walked around the Citadel. Impressive campus.
As a visitor that's not from Charleston I thought the park was pretty amazing. I walked a lot on different paths and got to see ducks by the waterfall. There were numerous flowers and a lot of people working out. I would have spent more time here if it didn't start pouring down heavy rain.
Hampton Park is an absolute gem in downtown Charleston and easily deserves 5 stars. The park is beautifully maintained year-round, with stunning flowerbeds, towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss, and a peaceful pond filled with friendly ducks and geese.
