Confirmed from Harmony Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Harmony Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (313 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 11 mentions

“Nice park, well kept, but they need to get the thistles out of the grass, only complaint”

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“The field was great quality and it even has natural shade for daytime games.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“It has multiple, well-kept fields, for all ages.”

It has multiple, well-kept fields, for all ages. It also features two parks complete with a sandbox, swing set, and different sets for different maturitys. And when your kids play you can have a nice peaceful walk on the concrete path around the perimeter.

★★★★★ — Jo , May 2021

Many a soccer game played at this park! Honestly it’s a good park, but there are some issues due to its location and extreme amount of soccer. It’s a long slow drive through a neighborhood, and you better use your gps.

★★★★☆ — Heather , May 2023

Two play areas, based on age, and one is covered. A pavilion for parties, several soccer fields, tennis courts, and a paved circuit to walk or run are available seven days a week. The restrooms are clean and there is a snack bar during games. The parking is ample.

★★★★★ — Michelle , Oct 2021

The fields are okay, unfortunately they are crammed in like sardines and not all are on a flat surface. The play ground is fantastic. Parking needs improvement so bring you walking shoes if you come here on a game day.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“Don't worry if your kids have to go to the bathroom, because they have a surprisingly clean bathouse, right next to their concession stand.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
