What runners say about Harry Street Nature Trail Park
I had never heard of this trail before even though I live only about 2.5 miles from it. It’s a pretty, relaxing, easy walk covered with soft mulch. The trail is well maintained and flat, meandering across a small meadow and along a shaded creek side. If you have less than an hour to hike, it’s worth it.
I like visiting this trail near dusk. It is very peaceful and typically I get to see some sort of wildlife. In the evening I often have it to myself with my Old English Sheepdog. Your car will get dusty getting here and be on the lookout for deer as they are prolific on Harry.
Its a beautiful trail full of different species of mushrooms and wildflowers. Most of the trail is in the shade so it make for a great place to walk on a warm day.
