Confirmed from Heritage Oaks Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large park featuring tennis and basketball courts, pond, and a baseball field, along with playgrounds.
What runners say about Heritage Oaks Park
“This park is well maintained by Hawthorn Woods.”
“Such beautiful environments serenity and calming surroundings”
Heritage Oaks Park is our favorite park. Great walking paths, playground, baseball and soccer fields. This park is well maintained by Hawthorn Woods. There is a gazebo and two awesome shelters. There are actually full washroom facilities at both of the shelters that are open most of the year.
Very nice. 3 fields. Flat & nicely cut grass. With Soccer field. Walking/biking trails.
A great park. I loved placing tennis there as a kid. Well kept courts. Has 2 tennis courts, a soccer field, and multiple baseball fields. It is always enjoyable to bike through the path. Beautiful pond and trees. Amazing playground for kids of all ages.
A fan favorite amongst the kids. They have everything: swings, slides, monkey bars... And most importantly bathrooms! Multiple baseball diamonds lend to lots of activity in the summer, tennis court, basketball court and soccer fields line the length of the park.
Trail conditions & character
“This park has soccer fields, a regular play park, and a big hill to climb up.”
“Has bathrooms, which is nice so you don’t have to go home to use the toilet.”
“I am giving it only 4 stars because the water fountains don’t work most of the time, which is always slightly annoying if you want to refill a water bottle.”
